A bigger shock saw the seconds lose on their first league game in 2 years to Kimblesworth seconds. Batting first rainton reached 132 all out. On Sunday however the seconds made amends away at Coundon. Rainton won the toss and batted first, Neill Matthews 58, Alan Maskell 25, Andy Lormor 31, Muhammad Hussein 83, Lee Henderson 29 not out and Connor Henderson 18 not out as Rainton declared on 266 for 4. Coundon replied strongly with J Timms scoring 38 and M Ruddick 31 however Coundon were all out for 100. With Derrick Steinberg 2 for 35, Glenn Moody 1 for 21, Darren Portrey 2 for 22 and Connor Henderson 4 for 20.
