On Thursday the mid week team hosted Horden, however with the visitors on 12 for 0 the rain arrived.
On Friday the Rockets had their final league game of the season losing to Durham City by 40 runs. Whilst at the same time our Ladies enjoyed a friendly against Beamish Ladies.
On Saturday the first team visited Littletown. Batting first the home side reached 188 for 7, despite numerous dropped catches and 58 for E Finn. Scott Taylor took 2 for 25, Ben Foster 1 for 37, Laura Trotter 3 for 22, Derrick Steinberg 0 for 29, Gavin Snowball 0 for 37 and Conor Henderson 0 for 27. In reply two losses for low scores were Ben Sims for 8 and Lee Henderson for 5. However Gavin Snowball 21, Jamie Parkinson 33 and Scott Taylor 16 pulled back the situation before Conor Henderson 58 not out and Jack Blake 38 not out saw us home.
On Sunday the club held its Annual sponsors day and the second team hosted Murton. Batting first Murton reached 139 for 9, Cy Duffy took 1 for 33, Rachael Petherick 4 for 23, Kieran Burrell 1 for 48, James Messer 3 for 13 and Scott Gillan 0 for 8. In reply we reached 140 for 5. Neil Matthews proved the rock of the innings with 61, Scott Gillan added 10, Kieran Burrell 16, James Messer 4, David Wright 2, Cy Duffy 14 not out and Rachael Petherick 5 not out.
On Sunday morning our Under 11 girls had their first league game away at Sacriston, we posted 53 for 0, with Orla adding 16, Alisha 9 and Thea 8. In reply Sacriston made 102 for 2, with Erin & Jessica taking a wicket each.
Our Rockets also held a friendly against Sacriston they made 70 for 2 whilst we reached 60 for 8.
